DotNetNuke expert and evangelist Mitch Sellers joined the Minnesota DotNetNuke User's Group (MN DNN UG) on Wednesday, May 16th, for a presentation on optimizing DNN performance. The hour long presentation focused on choosing appropriate website hosting, web server setup and fine tuning DNN's options to achieve reduced page load times.

The user group also took a look at some of the new social features in the upcoming DNN 6.2 release. The ability to create a vibrant user community, with social networking features akin to Facebook was the main focus of this future version of DNN. The attendees numbered 12, with free pizza and beverages from the user group sponsors, Risdall Marketing Group and PowerDNN.
